In the Philippines, 50% of the 3.5 million coconut farmers live below the poverty line, earning less than 250 pesos per day. As there are hardly any alternative sources of income, there is a very high poverty incidence. We, at LAREGINA COCONUT PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING envisions to uplift the quality of life of our coconut farmers through value adding of our farm products.
NUEZ NATURALS are handmade coconut - based cosmetic products of COCONUT FARMERS of Lanao del Norte, we have undergone innovative trainings in coconut processing using the main ingredient, COCONUT harvested from our own coconut farm lands. We have set out from agriculture to the cosmetic industry, promoting “green” and “sustainable” cosmetic products. With the increasing public interest in the driving trend of sustainability, our company embraces vegan and cruelty-free products lessening the ecological impact on the environment and reducing the undesired effects controversial ingredients have on our health.
